Moleskine City Notebooks

Posted on March 27, 2008 by in Blog | No Comments

I just picked up a Moleskine City Notebook from Amazon. Of course, I got the Boston one (even though I lived there for 6 years…) Anyway, I’ve just been thumbing through it and it’s really quite neat. They have built-in color maps of the city (with detailed views), subway station index, transportation contact information (train, taxi, airport, etc.), conversion charts, a ruler, a street index, several blank pages for notes, a “city file” for restaurants, music, bars, etc., and some transparent tracing paper to place over the map pages in order to mark your routes or places of interest.

Yep, all of that in a neat little book. I know what you’re thinking… you’re thinking that you could get all of that online (as you’re traveling). Yes, you can, but there’s just something about having it all written down… I’ve never been to Europe, nor do I have any immediate plans to go, but when I do, you can bet that I’ll be toting a few of these with me.

Good job, Moleskine- yet another clever invention from us Italians.
