My First Foray into Vehicle Graphics

Posted on August 8, 2008 by in Blog | 1 Comment

Fresh out of the sign shop that performed the actual decal application, is my company’s Ft. Lauderdale-based shuttle bus! Now, this little baby, built on an E-350 chassis has 145,000 miles on her, and still runs pretty well, thanks to our team of Ground Support Equipment mechanics.

Anyway, with us being in the general aviation (private jets) aircraft service industry, it just came to me one night to slap a couple of jet engines on the van! After working on Photoshop for a few days to develop the graphic, and after two days at the sign shop, here she is!

I’m pretty proud… ok, really proud, of the way it came out, and for my first try designing a full-vehicle wrap, I can’t imagine that it would have gone better! The sign shop guys did a great job applying the decals; it’s really impressive the kind of coverage you can get on a vehicle with such abnormal contour to it.

At first glance, i thought this was an ambulance. I had to take a second look, and I think it’s pretty rad. I’d be proud too, if I were you. Congrats. It’s amazing what you can do with vehicle wraps these days.
