Berklee College of Music: High School Jazz Festival Website

Project Description:

I initially accepted this project as a small consulting job; the festival committee had a website that needed organization and a visual style that reflected their brand. After the full scope of work was realized, I was asked to perform the UX/UI and content changes in order to prepare the website to be managed by an incoming staff member. The Berklee High School Jazz Festival site exists to promote jazz to high school-aged kids and also inform them, their parents, and band directors about Berklee’s annual festival. Regular blog updates create value for site visitors, and integrated social media (and an external e-newsletter) help to promote the site to potential visitors. Site work was completed in two weeks and handed back over to festival staff in late June, 2011.
